Creating Supportive Classrooms

Workshop for Teaching Practices to Enhance Students’ Sense of Belonging

One of the building blocks in the Student Wellbeing Framework is creating a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that promotes both wellbeing and students’ sense of belonging. This workshop provides educators with practical tools and principles to strengthen this sense of belonging among students.

Want to learn more about sense of belonging in the context of student wellbeing? Check out the webinar and the blog on this topic.

This workshop was originally developed by professionals from Utrecht University and UMC Utrecht, and further developed by the Stijn program. A trainer manual and a PowerPoint presentation are available to help you deliver this workshop yourself.

This workshop is also available in Dutch.

Tip: An overview of knowledge from scientific research on well-being and wellbeing can be found at www.onderwijskennis.nl.
